This 6.33ct amethyst is cut in the Framed Hex design by Michiko Huynh, a precision hexagon whose crisp outline frames a starburst of reflections, with frosted facets added to the pavilion that give the interior a soft, snowflake-like glow. The stone is from Bahia, Brazil, and shows a bright lilac-purple with flashes of deeper violet — at 13.3 x 11.6mm it has real presence. A natural veil sits along one side, an honest fingerprint of an otherwise untreated, all-natural gem.
