Peachy Pink Tourmaline 2.78 cts. 8.7× 7.25 mm, Radiant Emerald Cut

A 2.78-carat pink tourmaline from the DRC, cut in an original frosted design adapted from Robert Long's Ember. Untreated, with a gentle peachy pink color much closer to morganite than to the hot pinks tourmaline usually shows. The frosted facets pull a soft eight-ray star through the center of the stone. There are some inclusions and one larger feather, but it's bright and lively face-up.
