A 2.78ct untreated pink tourmaline from the DRC, prong set in a heavyweight platinum halo and accented by 0.70ct of natural diamonds around the stone and down the band. The stone is cut in an original frosted design adapted from Robert Long's Ember, and the frosted facets draw a soft eight-ray star through its center. Its peachy pink color is like a very saturated morganite, and despite minor inclusions it's bright and lively face-up.
